"I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a professional, and I am passionate about working with you to improve our beautiful community."

Lindsay grew up in Houston, Texas as one of four children, a twin, in fact, to her brother Craig and middle sister to Carlie (the oldest) and Mollie (the youngest). She became a mother to her beautiful daughter Elyse in 2004.

Early in her career, Lindsay’s strength and determination led her to excel at a Houston-based environmental consulting firm, where she oversaw environmental impact reports for private sector clients, as well as for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. She subsequently worked in the mortgage industry where she helped identify and report fraud. As a young professional, she quickly established her reputation as hard-working, no-nonsense and as a true leader.

In 2011, Lindsay and daughter Elyse moved to the Hill County, where shortly after, she met her husband Casey. They married in 2015 in Kerrville, Texas before moving their family to beautiful Canyon Lake in 2017. Elyse attends Canyon Lake High School, where she is on honor roll, an Emerging Leaders participant, and on the ball room dance team. Casey is a carpenter and owns a custom cabinet shop adjacent to their home. He is also an avid fisherman, and in their free time, they enjoy fishing, boating and all that Canyon Lake has to offer. In 2018, they added Belle to their family, a Catahoula dog who loves soaking in the outdoors of Canyon Lake just as much as the rest of the family, and just this year, in June 2020, we added Tiana, an American English Coonhound, to the family.

Lindsay holds an Associate’s of Art Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Texas State University. She currently works as an award-winning executive recruiter for leading national litigation and economic firms. As an executive recruiter, she is an experienced negotiator with various government agencies, including the International Monetary Fund, Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission and the State Department on behalf of her clients. She brings valuable knowledge of working with the public sector and is prepared to advocate for and negotiate on behalf of Comal County.

As a wife, a mother and a resident of Comal County, Lindsay brings diverse experience, leadership, commitment and a passion for making this community the best that it can be for her family and for yours. Improving the community is her motivation for running for County Commissioner of Precinct 1. Thank you for joining her as she seeks to repair roads, increase safe access to the lake and promote year-round utilization of Canyon Lake’s beautiful park spaces.
